The variety Wladyslaw Lokietek, also known as Royal Rosy, belongs to the group of Yakushimanum hybrids. It is an ornamental evergreen shrub with a dense structure, reaching a height of 0.8–1.2 meters at the age of ten. The plant has a slow growth rate and high resistance to frost, withstanding temperatures down to -30°C.

The leaves are dark green, matte, up to 10 cm long, with silvery-brown pubescence, which remains mainly on the underside. The flowering period occurs in May and lasts for 2–3 weeks. The pale pink bell-shaped flowers with wavy edges are gathered in dense spherical inflorescences.

The variety is characterized by good disease resistance and shrub strength. It is intended for solitary and group plantings, rock gardens, heather and Japanese gardens, and is also suitable for container cultivation.
