The WALSNOWRUF variety (commercial name Walberton’s® Snow Ruffles) is an ornamental shrub of the Japanese azalea group. The plant has dark foliage and forms a neat, low, dome-shaped habit.
The flowers of the variety are large, double, white, and their diameter ranges from 6 to 7 cm. The variety was bred excluding the Azalea indica group, which provides the plant with high winter hardiness.
