The variety is an elepidote large-flowered hybrid obtained by crossing 'Křivoklát' × 'Claudine'. The shrub has a compact shape and reaches a height of 1.2 m with a width of 1.3 m 10 years after planting. The leaves are matte.
The flowers, 65–75 mm in diameter, are funnel-shaped, cardinal red in color with white anthers, and are collected in dense dome-shaped inflorescences of 12–16 flowers each. The variety blooms in the early or mid-early period in May.
The plant possesses winter hardiness down to -20°C. One of the key characteristics is its resistance to intense sunlight, thanks to which the flower color does not fade.
