The variety belongs to the Simsii rhododendron group, also known as Indian azaleas. It is an evergreen compact shrub 30–50 cm in height with dark green leathery leaves.
The plant forms white flowers 3–5 cm in diameter, which can be single or double. The flowering period lasts from November to June; with proper care, flowering continues for up to 6 weeks.
The variety requires indoor maintenance at 15–22°C, bright diffused light, and constant soil moisture. The plant is sensitive to drafts and drying out of the root ball.
