Variety description

The variety is a complex hybrid of Salix miyabeana × (Salix viminalis × Salix triandra). The plant is characterized as branched with dense foliage that persists until the beginning of December. Vegetation begins early, often as early as February.

The variety demonstrates high resistance to fungal diseases, including Melampsora sp. rust, and also tolerates drought and soils with high heavy metal content well. It develops steadily on marginal lands and areas with adverse conditions.

Its primary economic purpose is energy production from woody biomass and ecological engineering. Due to the presence of condensed tannins in the leaves, the variety is also used as a feed additive for certain species of large herbivores.
