The variety is a hybrid of Salix alba × Salix euxina. It is intended for use in short-rotation plantations for the production of wood fuel and wood chips, and is also considered as a component for agroforestry systems.
The variety belongs to the category of fast-growing woody species. It is valued for high biomass productivity under suitable soil and climatic conditions and is the subject of research on adaptation to local conditions in the Czech Republic.
