The «Unn» variety is used in short-rotation crops for the production of wood fuel. Studies show high survival rates of cuttings of this variety during planting, reaching 100% under experimental conditions.

This variety is officially certified and is used in breeding programs focused on biomass production. Detailed morphological characteristics of the plant and information on its origin are absent in open publications.
