The variety is intended for the production of wood fuel using short-rotation forestry technology. It is characterized by high yield, capable of reaching over 10–12 tons of dry mass per hectare per year with an intensive harvest cycle every 2–4 years.
The plant has an erect growth habit. The selection of the variety was aimed at increasing productivity, resistance to leaf rust and other common pathogens, as well as adaptation to frost resistance in northern climate conditions.
