A variety of Danish origin, also known by the synonym «Russisk Kæmpe». In literature, it is classified as a variety intended for annual production, unlike biennial forms prone to bolting in the second year.
Characterized by the formation of high-quality, even, and smooth root vegetables with white flesh. Variations of the name with additions exist, such as «Enårig Kæmpe 'Samba'» or «Enårig Kæmpe 'Bamba'».
