Variety description

The plant is a compact groundcover mound 10–20 cm in height and up to 40–50 cm in width. Fleshy glossy leaves have a saturated cherry-red or burgundy-purple color, which is maintained from spring to autumn, with the exception of the youngest shoots that have a greenish hue.

Flowering occurs in August–September with bright pink flowers gathered in corymbose inflorescences up to 10 cm in diameter. The variety possesses high resistance to lodging, is suitable for winter hardiness zone 4, and prefers sunny locations with drained soil.

The variety is intended for use in rockeries, alpine gardens, border plantings, container gardening, and on difficult sites with poor soils.
