The variety has a semi-spreading, medium-sized bush with abundant flowering of violet flowers. Tubers are round, medium-sized, with smooth blue-violet skin, medium-deep eyes, and dark violet sprouts. The flesh is white, sometimes with violet streaks.
The plant is susceptible to late blight of foliage and tubers, common scab, and golden potato cyst nematode. The yield of the variety is estimated as relatively low. It belongs to floury varieties of culinary type B or B-C, traditionally used for preparing soups, purees, and the dish "aligot".
