The variety is a winter form of spelt intended for use in the baking industry. Due to tightly adhering glumes, the grain possesses natural protection, which makes the plant suitable for cultivation in organic farming conditions with limited pesticide application.
The yield indicators of the variety depend on weather conditions and the level of nitrogen fertilizer application, the excess of which increases the risk of lodging. Physical properties of the grain are characterized by good gluten content, however, its quality may be low, which affects the dough stability during baking.
