The variety belongs to the erythrospermum botanical variety. The plant reaches a height of 80–90 cm and has a semi-erect bush. Stems, leaves, and spikes are glabrous, glossy, light green during the growing season, and white after ripening. The cylindrical spike of medium density has a length of 8–9 cm with dense straw-yellow awns.
The grain is red-colored, oval-shaped, with a thousand kernel weight of about 48.6 g. The variety is characterized by above-average winter hardiness, high resistance to shattering, sprouting in the spike, as well as to powdery mildew, Septoria, and Fusarium.
The ripening period is 280–285 days. The grain contains up to 14% protein and up to 32% crude gluten; flour strength indicators reach 320 a.u. The variety's yield during trials was up to 9.75 t/ha.
