Bushes are vigorous, shoots reach 3.5–4 meters in length. Leaves are large, round, entire, reticulate-wrinkled, light green. The flower is functionally male; the variety does not form clusters and does not produce a berry yield. The growing season lasts 175–190 days, cane maturation is 78–80%.

The variety possesses high resistance to the root form of phylloxera and fungal diseases, but has low resistance to the leaf form of phylloxera. It adapts well to carbonate soils, withstanding up to 13–15% of active lime, but is sensitive to cold and waterlogged soils.

Cuttings root well and ensure reliable graft union with most Vitis vinifera varieties. Use of the rootstock contributes to increased scion growth and improved yield of varieties with fruit-set problems.
