Variety description

The variety is a classic rootstock obtained through interspecific hybridization. The plant has high vigor and forms long, even, sprawling shoots. The leaves are large, dark green, wedge-shaped, and often have deep grooves along the veins. The opening bud is heavily pubescent and colored white-pink.

The variety possesses high phylloxera resistance and resistance to downy mildew. It adapts well to calcareous soils, but tolerates dry and heavily compacted soils poorly. A tendency toward insufficient magnesium uptake is noted. As a rootstock variety, it is not intended for berry production and does not form clusters.
