ActiveVitis vinifera L. · Common grape vine
TIMOTHY SHEEHAN
10 August 2026
The variety is the result of a natural crossing of Castellana Blanca and Savagnin Blanc. The bunches and berries are small, compact, and dense; the berry skin is white, acquiring a golden-yellow hue upon ripening.
The grape possesses drought tolerance, however, it shows sensitivity to fungal diseases, particularly powdery mildew and botrytis, with lower susceptibility to downy mildew. Wines from this variety are characterized by full-bodiedness and glycerin content.
