The variety Allegro (breeding number Gm 8331-1) is an interspecific hybrid created to combine the wine quality of classical varieties with disease resistance. The vines are characterized by medium to vigorous upright growth with an open leaf canopy and minimal lateral shoot formation.

The variety belongs to the mid-season maturity group and is distinguished by regular yields. The plant possesses high natural resistance to downy mildew and powdery mildew, as well as low susceptibility to gray mold, which allows for minimized chemical treatment.

The berries are blue-black in color, round in shape, and covered in bloom. The resulting wines have a dark ruby hue and are characterized by balanced tannins and aromas of black currant, blackberry, black cherry, plum, and elderberry with spicy notes.
