The variety was obtained by crossing the varieties Dabouki and Alphonse Lavallée. The clusters are large, conical or cylindrical-conical in shape, moderately loose. The berries are large, oval or spherical in shape, and upon full maturity acquire a bluish-black color with a bloom. The flesh is firm and crunchy, the skin is thick, sometimes with an astringent taste.

The vine is characterized by high vigor; shoots have an upright or semi-upright position. The variety requires tying to trellises, and short or medium pruning is recommended. The produce tolerates storage and transportation well.

The variety is quite productive, practically not susceptible to the shedding of ovaries and berries, and exhibits resistance to gray mold. During the vegetation process, bending of the vines and cracking of the berries are sometimes observed.
