The variety is a vigorous plant with a powerful root system, occupying an intermediate position in terms of growth vigor between the Kober 5BB and RR 101-14 rootstocks. The flower type is male; the variety does not produce berries. The leaves are dark green, smooth, almost entire, with a lyre-shaped or vault-shaped petiolar sinus. The shoots are characterized by long internodes, pubescent light-red tips, and vine maturation at a level of about 80%.

Teleki 8 B is valued for its high adaptability to heavy, dense, and calcareous soils, withstanding active lime content of up to 17–20% and higher. The variety possesses high drought tolerance and disease resistance. The rooting ability of cuttings is medium, and the graft union formation during bench grafting is evaluated as relatively low.
