The Blauer Gänsfüßer variety, also known as Argant, has deeply incised five-lobed leaves that resemble a goose foot in shape. The vine has vigorous growth and belongs to the group of late-ripening varieties.
The variety is characterized by low yield and a tendency for flower/fruit drop, while demonstrating drought tolerance, but has high susceptibility to powdery mildew. It is used exclusively in winemaking, primarily for creating blended wines with pronounced acidity and aging potential.
