Wine grape variety, also known as Blaufränkisch and Lemberger. The vine is vigorous, and the shoots ripen well. Leaves are large, entire or slightly lobed, dark green, turning wine-red in autumn. Clusters are medium-sized, broad-conical, compact, weighing 140–220 g.
Berries are medium-sized, round, dark blue, almost black in color, covered with tough skin, flesh is juicy. The ripening period is about 150 days; harvest usually occurs at the end of September. The variety is sensitive to frost due to early bud break; in cold weather during flowering, ovary shedding is possible.
