The Rayada Melonera variety has medium to large cylindrical-conical bunches of moderate density. The name is associated with the appearance of light stripes on the skin of the berries during ripening, resembling the coloring of a melon.

The plant is characterized by early bud break and a short phenological cycle. It possesses medium fertility and productivity, is relatively resistant to fungal diseases, and long pruning of the vine is recommended during cultivation.

This grape is classified as a wine variety and is used to create light, fresh, and balanced wines, often rosé. Due to its Mediterranean origin, the variety is sensitive to low temperatures.
