The variety is classified as mid-season; ripening occurs in the second epoch. Clusters are very large, prone to branching and high density. Berries are large, elliptical in shape, and covered with a thick dark blue skin.
The plant is characterized by moderate resistance to downy mildew and powdery mildew, while possessing good drought tolerance. The variety is prone to gray mold infection, as well as damage by insect pests such as mites, leafrollers, and leafhoppers.
The variety is highly productive, especially when using long pruning. Wines from this grape are characterized by moderate alcohol content (11–12%), pronounced freshness, and low aromatic intensity, which makes it a suitable component for blends.
