Rousseli, also known as Rosé du Var, is an autochthonous wine grape variety used for the production of rosé wines. The variety is characterized as fertile and productive, while possessing high resistance to drought conditions.

The plant belongs to late-maturing varieties. Morphologically, the variety is distinguished by large, juicy berries with uneven pink skin coloration, as well as entire or three-lobed leaves with bronze spots on young shoots. To obtain a high-quality yield, the variety requires short pruning.

The variety has a low potential for sugar accumulation and moderate acidity, which gives the wines lightness and aromatics. At the same time, Rousseli has a high susceptibility to Botrytis cinerea.
