The variety is a color mutation of white Riesling. Externally, the vines are almost identical to white Riesling, however, the berries have a pink, reddish or lilac hue with dark spots, and berries with varying degrees of coloration can be found on a single cluster. The leaf veins have a pronounced reddish tint at the base.

The plant belongs to late-maturing varieties with medium to strong vigor. Due to the thicker skin of the berries, the variety has high resistance to Botrytis cinerea and sunburn, with moderate susceptibility to Oidium and downy mildew. Soil and climate requirements are similar to white Riesling.

This is a wine grape variety used for the production of white wines. The finished wine is characterized by high minerality, pronounced acidity, and greater structure compared to classic white Riesling.
