Variety description

The variety is the result of crossing the varieties Trollinger and Riesling. The bushes are vigorous, distinguished by intensive lateral shoot formation. The leaves are medium-large, three- or five-lobed, with a corrugated and strongly blistered surface.

The clusters are medium-sized, broad-conical in shape, and dense. The berries are medium or medium-large, round, and red-blue (black) in color. The variety is characterized by late flowering and ripening, possesses resistance to frost, but due to dense foliage is prone to oidium infection.

It prefers deep, fine-earth soils not prone to drying out. Used in winemaking to create aromatic fruity wines, which are best consumed young.
