Variety description

Young shoots have white tips with high density of pubescence. Mature leaves are pentagonal, entire or three-lobed, dark green in color. Bunches are medium-sized, compact. Berries are medium-sized, round, with moderately thick skin and simple flavor.
The variety is late-ripening and possesses vigorous growth with a semi-upright bush habit. The variety shows good resistance to downy mildew, powdery mildew, and grey mold, but is sensitive to esca and has low resistance to wind and drought.
Wines from this variety are characterized as alcoholic and full-bodied, possessing persistence in flavor, but often having reduced acidity.
