The 8 B (Teleki 8 B) variety is a grape rootstock variety with a functionally male flower type. The vines have moderate vigor, while providing average yields for the varieties grafted onto them.

The plant demonstrates high tolerance to the root form of phylloxera, good resistance to drought and soil active lime content up to 17%. Winter hardiness is assessed as high, the variety withstands temperatures down to -27...-30°C, while resistance to iron chlorosis is characterized as moderate.
