The variety is technical and characterized by a mid-late maturity group. The adult plant has a large, pentagonal, three-lobed leaf with absent or weak rugosity. The variety is distinguished by high yield and good adaptability to various soil types and climates with low humidity.
The plant is relatively drought tolerant, however, it is susceptible to downy mildew and sensitive to strong wind. In winemaking, the variety is valued for its ability to produce aromatic, fruity wines with subtle acidity, minerality, and notes of citrus and tropical fruits.
