The variety is a hybrid of Muscat de Hamburg and Cabernet Sauvignon varieties. The berries have a dark red, almost black-bluish color, are covered with bloom, the pulp is greenish and juicy with a sweet-sour taste. The yield is 13–20 t/ha, sugar accumulation reaches 175–200 g/l with an acidity of 4.5–5.5 g/l.
The plant has average resistance to fungal diseases and low temperatures. The late onset of vegetation provides protection against spring frosts. The variety is adapted to the climatic conditions of the wine-growing regions of Transylvania.
