The variety Angela B. (synonyms: Angiola, Angiola bianca, Angiola bolognese) belongs to the species Vitis vinifera L. Historically, two biotypes were distinguished: Angela bolognese with round berries and Angela romagnola with elongated berries. The berries of the variety are white or yellow-green in color.
Traditionally, the grape was used as a table grape; there are also mentions of its use for producing sweet and sparkling wine. The variety is included in the official national catalog of Italy under code 503.
