The Callet Negrella variety, also known as Callet de Cas Concos and Callet Cas Concos Negro, originates from the island of Majorca. It is a distinct grape variety, genetically differentiated from the widely known Callet variety, which is the product of a natural crossing between Callet Negrella and the Fogoneu variety.
This variety is classified as a wine grape variety. At present, detailed morphological and agrotechnical descriptions of the plant are practically absent, as the variety is rare and poorly studied. Nevertheless, it is included in the official lists of local varieties authorized for use in winemaking in the Balearic Islands.
