Caloria N. is a natural hybrid obtained from crossing the Mammolo variety and an unknown parent. It is genetically related to a number of Tuscan varieties. The variety is characterized by a hermaphroditic flower, medium cylindrical clusters, and small, round, dark pink berries with thin skin and a neutral taste.
The plant's leaves have a wedge-shaped or pentagonal form; they are five-lobed and deeply incised, with slight pubescence on the underside. The variety is distinguished by high yield, however, it does not possess resistance to frost or fungal diseases. It is cultivated primarily in the province of Massa-Carrara.
