The variety was obtained as a result of crossing Domina and Regent varieties. Vines are characterized by medium to moderately vigorous growth, shoots grow upright, and side shoot formation is insignificant.
Wine variety intended for the production of full-bodied tannic wines with berry and smoky notes, suitable for aging in barriques. Bunches are compact, with an average weight of about 150 g. Yield is somewhat lower than the Regent variety with higher must sugar content.
Belongs to the category of varieties resistant to fungal diseases. Possesses medium resistance to downy mildew, medium to high resistance to powdery mildew, and high resistance to Botrytis cinerea, which allows for a significant reduction in fungicide treatments.
