Variety description

The variety is multipurpose and is used both as a table grape and for the production of still wines. The ripening period is approximately 129 days with an active temperature sum of 2600°C. Vines are of medium vigor. Leaves are small or medium, rounded, five-lobed and deeply dissected, with bristly pubescence on the underside.

Clusters are of medium size, dense, and have a conical or cylindrical-conical shape. Berries are medium to large, rounded, covered with a thin dark pink skin with a thick waxy bloom. Berry flesh is delicate, taste is harmonious.

The variety has a stable yield in the range of 80–100 c/ha, however, it has low winter hardiness and is sensitive to fungal diseases. It requires protection against pathogens and regular moderate watering, as it is not drought-tolerant. The "Rs" label indicates selected clones, including those specialized for winemaking.
