Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety has a multipurpose use: it is used both for fresh consumption and for the production of light red wines, often used in blends. Numerous synonyms are recorded in ampelographic databases, including Cipar, Ciparka, and Grec Rose.

The plant has a hermaphroditic flower type. The berries have a pink or coral-green hue. The variety is characterized by low disease resistance and susceptibility to viral infections, which is confirmed by data from modern Croatian vineyards.
