The variety has a hermaphroditic flower and five-lobed, slightly dissected leaves. The bunches are medium-sized, elongated, and compact. The berries are small, round, and dark blue with thick skin. The vines are characterized by moderate vigor, and berry ripening occurs in the early-mid season.
The grape possesses resistance to gray mold (Botrytis cinerea). Wines produced from this variety are dominated by aromas of blackberry, black cherry, dark plum, and violet, as well as earthy and spicy notes. The wines are distinguished by balanced acidity and pronounced tannins.
