The variety is moderately vigorous and ripens at the end of the second or beginning of the third period. An important morphological feature is the presence of a functionally female flower type, which necessitates additional pollinator varieties that bloom at the same time, for example, the Škrlet variety.
The wine variety is intended for wine production and is often used in blends to impart spicy, muscat aromatic properties to the drink. At high yields, berry quality decreases, therefore load regulation and cluster thinning are recommended.
The variety is classified in studies based on its susceptibility to downy mildew Plasmopara viticola. It represents a historically established autochthonous cultivated species, not a product of modern breeding.
