The variety is a wine grape of Czech selection. It originates from the parent forms Argentin and André. The plant is characterized by vigorous growth and absent or weak manifestation of berry drop during flowering.
Full ripening of berries occurs from the end of August to early September. Bunches are medium-sized, dense. Berries are small, round-shaped, covered with blue-black skin. Bunch yield is estimated as low, while the must possesses high sugar content.
