The variety is a vigorous and strong-growing plant with medium fertility and productivity. The bunches are compact, very short, and medium-sized. The berries are small, black-blue in color, spherical in shape with colorless, juicy, and slightly firm pulp.

The variety is characterized by medium budburst and ripening times. Cultivation is considered complex; the plant tolerates long pruning well, provided that yields are controlled. The variety is sensitive to wind, sunburn, and drought.

The variety has good resistance to downy mildew but has low resistance to powdery mildew and grey mold. It is used for the production of wines with good structure and acidity, often in blends with local grape varieties.
