Variety description

The variety belongs to the early-mid ripening period with early bud break. Vines are characterized by medium vigor; the leaf is small or medium, rounded, five-lobed, with dense tomentose pubescence on the underside. The cluster is medium, conical, dense; berries are medium-sized, oval, greenish-yellow.

The variety is high-yielding but requires crop load management. Resistance to fungal diseases is weak, especially to powdery mildew. It is sensitive to frost and drought, which causes berry shriveling. Due to its tendency to rapid acidity loss at the end of the growing season, harvest timing requires strict control.

Used for the production of still dry white, sparkling, and dessert wines. The aromatic profile includes shades of lime, lemon, orange, mandarin, flowers, and spices. With aging, honey and mineral notes may develop. It is often used in blends to adjust the wine's acidity and structure.
