Galego T is a technical grape variety originating from Portugal and belonging to the Muscat family. It is a red variety of the Moscatel Galego cultivar, which is known worldwide as Muscat Blanc à Petits Grains.
The variety is intended exclusively for winemaking purposes and is cultivated primarily in Portuguese regions such as Douro. The name of the variety indicates the berry color, where the letter index "T" is an abbreviation for "Tinto" (red).
This variety is part of the ancient Portuguese grape gene pool and is valued for the specific aromatic properties characteristic of the Muscat group. Detailed agrotechnical characteristics and indicators of resistance to external factors are not presented in open sources.
