The variety is a hybrid of Ezerjó and Piros tramini. The wine grape accumulates a significant amount of sugar with a moderate decrease in acidity, which allows for the creation of various styles of wine. The variety's performance depends on the choice of rootstock, such as Teleki-Kober SO4 or Fercal.

The plant possesses good winter hardiness, being considered one of the most resistant to low temperatures among Vitis vinifera varieties. The variety is classified as water-efficient, demonstrating the ability to adapt to water stress conditions.
