Variety description

The variety is not intended for fruit production and is used exclusively as a rootstock. Its lineage involves the species Vitis berlandieri and Vitis vinifera.

The vines are characterized by vigorous growth and long internodes. The variety possesses the ability for good cane maturation and a high percentage of cutting rooting.

The primary agronomic traits are high resistance to drought and high active lime content in the soil, which prevents the development of chlorosis. Cultivars grafted onto it show good graft compatibility and yield in difficult soil conditions.
