Moscato Giallo is an ancient Italian mid-season ripening variety. It has rounded five-lobed leaves and medium or large cylindro-conical bunches. The berries are medium-sized, yellow-golden, with a thick skin and juicy pulp possessing a distinct muscat flavor. The variety is not resistant to frost or fungal diseases.
Trebbiano Giallo is a separate grape variety originating from the Lazio region. Unlike Muscat, it is characterized by a more neutral flavor profile, high yield, and increased resistance to downy mildew.
