The variety belongs to the species Vitis vinifera L. and is the result of crossing the varieties Pozsonyi and Szürkebarát (Pinot Gris). The plant is characterized by a late ripening period, which occurs at the end of September.

The vine possesses high drought tolerance and high bud fertility. The variety exhibits resistance to diseases, which allows it to be grown with minimal use of chemical protection agents. The harvest is used for the production of wines with a pronounced aroma and harmonious acidity.

The K.M.1 designation indicates a specific certified clone of the variety, which is officially recognized and approved for propagation and use in winemaking.
