The variety is vigorous with perfect flowers. Leaves are medium to large in size, three- or five-lobed with serrated margins. Clusters are large and loose, berries are large, ranging from elongated to short-oval, deep blue or blue-black in color.
The variety exhibits resistance to winter and recurring spring frosts, and possesses some disease resistance. Disadvantages include unstable yields due to a tendency for berry drop, as well as sensitivity to soil composition, particularly lime.
