The hybrid form «Империал» of Russian breeding is characterized by vigorous growth and an early ripening period. The plant forms very large conical clusters weighing 800–1200 g. The large oval-elongated pink berries weighing 12–14 g have a harmonious taste and are of the table type.
The variety «Imperial Napoleon» is a Spanish grape with a late ripening period and a functionally female flower type, requiring cross-pollination. The plant is resistant to heat but sensitive to frost and prone to ovary shedding. The variety is susceptible to downy mildew and powdery mildew and is used as a table grape.
