The variety is a hybrid developed in the first half of the 20th century in Italy. It belongs to the family of varieties created by Professor Luigi Manzoni during breeding experiments and is classified as a wine grape variety.
A distinctive visual characteristic of this variety is the pink coloration of the berries. Information on specific agrotechnical indicators, maturity dates, and disease resistance for this clone is limited due to its rarity compared to other representatives of the Incrocio Manzoni group.
