The variety is a wine grape cultivar with a late ripening period. The plant's leaves are five-lobed, medium to large in size, and dark green in color. The clusters are medium in size, and the berries are characterized by a short-oval shape and a distinctive red-grey or pinkish-red skin color.
The plant has medium vigor, forms longer internodes, and is less prone to the formation of lateral shoots compared to the parent variety Kerner. The variety is characterized by good winter hardiness, resistance to chlorosis, and increased resistance to powdery mildew, grey mold, and downy mildew.
The purpose of the variety is the production of high-quality white wines of the Riesling type. The resulting wines have a fruity aroma, good structure, potential for long-term storage, and milder acidity compared to the Kerner variety.
